Assistant Dean, International Programs · Shiv Nadar Institution of Eminence
I research how machines read between the lines - sarcasm & sentiment detection, applied cyber security, and deep learning - and I teach the next generation of computer scientists how to build with them.
Dr. Pulkit Mehndiratta is Assistant Dean (International Programs) at Shiv Nadar Institution of Eminence, Gautam Buddha Nagar. He spent 13 years at Jaypee Institute of Information Technology (JIIT), Noida, as Assistant Professor (Senior Grade), where he taught data structures, algorithms, distributed & cloud computing, DevOps and information security, and built several MOOC courses. His PhD work focused on detecting sarcasm in text on social platforms, and his research since has spanned natural language processing, data analytics, and cyber security.
